This 2019 limited revision of Forming Consciences for Faithful Citizenship includes a new Introductory Letter and gives pastoral guidance to help Catholics in the United States exercise their political responsibility well.

The Introductory Letter responds to new social and political developments in the United States, especially with regard to respect for human life and dignity, as well as the ongoing guidance and teachings of Pope Francis. The content of Part I, II, and III of this teaching document remains unchanged from the 2015 statement. This revision also includes a new Prayer for Faithful Citizenship.

This important document on political responsibility, read in its totality, will guide Catholics as they discern how to be faithful citizens. Forming Consciences for Faithful Citizenship continues to present to the Catholic faithful, and all those of good will, an up-to-date guide to help form consciences as they participate in the civil order and public life.

2 of 5 Purchase of Books November 20, 2020

I was disappointed in our recent purchase.  We made a large purchase of books to distribute at our CCW gathering.  When the books had not arrived 2 days before the event, I called and was told they never received our payment.  Believing we had lapsed, I paid a large fee to have the books shipped overnight.  Later, I found the USCCB had received our check and had cashed it weeks before the event.  They had the money, but forgot to ship the books.  Although the USCCB did refund the monies from my double purchase, there was no attempt made to apologize for your error.  I paid a large overnight shipping fee so I wouldn't let our ladies down, thinking we had erred.  The USCCB staff could have at least shown some remorse for their clerical error.  Even McDonald's will try to show some remorse and make restitution if they make a mistake on an order.  I expected at least the same from a Catholic organization.  The experience was disappointing.

This book was extremely helpful in making up my mind on who I voted for this year. I am so glad I read it. I am so relieved that the right person was voted in. I was so torn between who I should vote for. This  book allowed me to view all  of the issues clearly in r/t to each candidate. I’m glad that God put it in my path.
